Open 7 days a week, from 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Gilbert’s is a lovely place to dine solo, meet a friend, and enjoy a well-made meal. What is great about Gilbert’s is the atmosphere: no big screen televisions, self ordering kiosks, or brightly painted walls to take selfies. You can have a honest meal without excess technology.

Gilbert’s cuisine is familiar, delicious, and tasty! It’s one of the few Jewish delis in downtown Bellevue. Serving Jewish, Pacific Northwest, and American fare, there is something for any foodie.
They have copious amounts of scrambles and omelettes for your breakfast cravings, plus they are all served with a bagel and potatoes. The Brioche French Toast is big enough for 2 diners…or even 3! BUT, what sets Gilbert’s apart from the rest is their homemade deli sandwiches. From a classic Corned Beef to a reinvented Ruben to London Port Wine Roast Beef Dip, they are all homemade and made in-house.
Steve Gilbert is the sole owner and operator since day one. He started Gilbert’s in spirit of the New York City delis. Keep the hospitality spirit alive, Steve pride himself on having a veteran staff that truly cares about giving exceptional service and cooking delicious meals.
Located in Old Bellevue, a small street in downtown Bellevue, WA, it is a neighborhood with independently owned businesses. Parking for Gilbert’s can be found on Main street and its side streets. In addition, they are right behind Bellevue’s downtown park and there are two parking lots for diners.
