3/4 cup all purpose flour
1 cup almond flour
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, cubed and chilled
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon white sugar
Approx. 1/2 cup cold water
Directions
- Sift all purpose flour, salt, and white sugar in a medium bowl.
- Add the almond flour. Whisk until blended
- Rub the butter into the dry ingredients with your hands. The butter should end up pea-size amount.
- Slowly, add cold water about 1 tablespoon at a time. Using a bowl scrapper or spatula, stir the water into the dry ingredients until a dough forms.
- Wrap in plastic wrap and chill in the fridge for 2 hours before using.
