Duke’s Seafood Restaurant: With 7 locations around the Puget Sound, Duke’s Seafood leads the way when it comes to delicious and sustainable seafood menu choices. From a classic chowder to refreshing salads to salmon entrees, there is truly something for any seafood lover.

ABOUT DUKE’S SEAFOOD RESTAURANTS
Started in 1976, when founder Duke Moscrip broke away from another Seattle-based seafood restaurant, he truly wanted to do “something less formal, a hangout, but a hangout with distinctive food.” The first location was in Queen Anne, followed by a second location in Bellevue two years later.
In 1989 is when Duke’s Chowder House opened in South Lake Union. Thus, they’re known of their variety of chowders that are made in-house and it quickly became a foodie favorite in the Pacific Northwest. Read more about their rich history, here.
Currently, Duke’s Seafood Restaurants has seven locations in the greater Seattle area: Bellevue, Southcenter, Kent Station, Alki Beach, Green Lake, Lake Union, Ruston Way, and one event center. See the full listings, here.

SUSTAINABLE SEAFOOD | DUKE’S
Yes, there are LOTS of seafood restaurants in the greater Seattle area, but what makes Duke’s Seafood Restaurant so unique? They are committed to sustainable seafood, grass-fed beef, and organic chicken. Plus, they source local farms for their fruits and vegetables, too.
Head chef and co-owners take a “hands on approach to local sourcing.” Simply, “they want the best tasting and healthiest food” for their customers and diners. Read more about their sustainability practices on their fact sheet, here.

WHAT TO ORDER AT DUKE’S SEAFOOD
Duke’s Seafood Restaurants offers lunch, dinner, happy hour, dessert, kids, and chef’s specials menus. Check ’em out, here.
New to Duke’s? Try their happy hour, it is 7 days a week, from 3-6pm and 9pm-close. They offer best sellers, small bites, classic burgers, and a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

For both lunch and dinner menus, they have a variety of shared plates and appetizers to split among foodies. Their award winning chowders comes in four sizes: dinghy, small bowl, large bowl, and Tureen. Or, enjoy it in a warm sourdough bread bowl.
Not super hungry? Duke’s offers salad entrees, tacos, and tiny bites (yes, tiny bites!) options for smaller appetites. The Un-chopped Seafood salad offers diners grilled scallops and wild prawns over a light salad.

Their salmon, halibut, and shellfish entrees are their specialties and are perfect for any seafood fan. They offer ’em in a variety of cooking preparations and seasonings. I love the cioppino because it has large chunks of crab, salmon, cold, and wild Mexicans prawns in a rich tomato based broth. Perfect for a fall day!
Want a combo of delicious-ness? Their combo wombo options will let you taste different menu options on one single plate.
All of their desserts are sharable, too. They serve Lopez Island ice cream and sorbet. Check the full dessert menu, here.
Best part? All food is served with warm sourdough bread and butter.
